[COPY] Why stop at Ukraine?
Indeed, why stop at Europe?
Re-posted as it is especially timely. Nothing added save to speculate that Alaska’s Congressional delegation could seamlessly transition into the Duma.
Admittedly, I am not a politician, and make no claims as to being a historian either: My history education is limited to a couple of high school courses, plus four or five I took as an undergraduate. More recently Andrew Bacevich's course on America's Wars in the Middle East and Timothy Snyder's History of Ukraine. So: An expert I am not, but on the other hand demonstrably more knowledgable than our current and immediate past presidents and their closest advisors, if their actions are any indication of their expertise.
I assume that as a literate adult you are familiar with Seward's Folly, aka the purchase of Alaska from the Russian Empire in 1867 [1]. Let me also remind you that the current Russian regime has as its goal the restoration of said empire. That they and their toadies around the world want to re-enslave Ukraine is no secret. But one needs to be slightly more attentive to recognize that giving them a free hand in Ukraine is just the start; they do not regard treaties or popular aspirations as binding. For example, former Presodent and -Premier Dmitry Medvedev has confrmed this with public statements concerning Russia's regarding of Poland [2] and the Baltics (Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania) [3] belonging to Russia. Let's connect the dots!
Now, I have the impression that the seventy-odd percent of Amerikans who voted Repugnican or stayed home in November either don't know even where Poland and the Baltics are or do not care what happens to them. But perhaps their interest might be piqued were the Russians to continue their empire rebuilding to its logical conclusion. Hence I offer the following, in graphic form so as not to challenge their reading ability.

Слава Україні
