Introducing galerieschiff.com
My artistic web site
As announced, but ahead of schedule, my personal art website https://galerieschiff.com is now open for business. That site is dedicated exclusively to the exhibition and sale of my art works.
When you visit the site, you will be offered the ability to view roughly a dozen individual works from each of two thematically or stylistically unified collections, chosen from the twenty four collections depicted as thumbnails in the image above. I plan to periodically update the site to present different or updated versions of the collections, but do not intend to ever show all of my artworks at once. Using a tablet or mobile phone you can find the images on the site by navigating to the "Menu" tab then choosing a gallery (currently "Political" or "11 Views"); with a computer-based browser the menu appears across the top of the page.
My intent is to purvey my art on a personal basis, so the site lacks the usual e-commerce features. Under the "About" tab you will find a description of the image sizes available along with associated prices. If you are interested in purchasing something, you can contact me via the "Contact" tab, and we can converse about your particular desires and discuss payment and delivery options.
Things you will not find on the GalerieSchiff web site are my artistic biography, manifesto, exhibition history, or descriptions of the collections or individual works. Those will be published here, for paid subscribers only. The motivation for that approach will be explained in my next, paid-subscribers-only, post here on Substack.
By the way, all of the images on my web page contain digital watermarks to assist me in detecting unauthorized reuse of my work. Please understand that the individual images shown on the website are slightly degraded in comparison to what will be delivered to you should you purchase them.
As always, I am interested in what you have to say. I read all comments on my posts.
