With respects to Ai Weiwei
Usually I put my attempts at artwork behind a paywall, aside from the original images I occasionally use to illustrate a regular post. This time I am making an exception because, well, these are exceptional times.
I stole the idea for this series from Ai Weiwei, who published (some of?) the original images in his book So Sorry [1]. There is one of the White House, from pretty much the same location, in black and white. Otherwise the following images are original aside from the stolen theme.
Naturally I could continue this practically ad infinitum, but my left hand started cramping and so I had to stop. If this results in a flood of new paid subscriptions (Ha!) I will Take The Pain and expand the series considerably.
